SUMMARY:Age UK Active Health Walk
DESCRIPTION:Age UK Cheshire West and Cheshire Health walks is for people aged 55 plus. There are various weekly and one off local walk programmes ranging from strolls to walks under 90 minutes. Walking is a great way to stay active\, keep healthy and enjoy the beautiful scenery with like-minded people. All walks are led by trained leaders who have been assessed as suitable. \n\n\nThis is the current walk schedule: \n\nWestminster Park Walking Group. Every Tuesday at 10.15am. The walk begins at 10.30. Meet by Rangers Cabin\nMalpas Alternate Tuesdays: This walk goes around Malpas village and is a good walk to go on if new to walking. Duration of this walk is 30 to 40 minutes. High Street Church\, Malpas\, Cheshire at 10:15am. DESCRIPTION:ADCA is based in the new Audlem Public Hall Annexe and provides weekly day clubs\, coffee clubs\, a befriending service to people who are isolated\, a voluntary driving service which takes people to GP\, clinic and hospital appointments. We also provide a twice monthly carers’ support group and organize carers breaks. We are always looking for more volunteers to join us in our work \nDay Club\nThe Day Club meets every Tuesday at Audlem Public Hall Annexe between 10.00am to 3.30pm. It provides a range of social activities and friendship for older people who may be isolated at home or who are lonely. The Day Club helps to improve overall health and well being and includes a cooked lunch\, chat\, news updates\, quizzes\, occasional speaker and musical entertainment. It is run by our staff and experienced volunteers. \nAudlem Coffee Club\nThe Audlem Coffee Club meets at the Lord Combermere in The Square\, Audlem every Friday between 10am and 12 noon for friendship\, news and updates with occasional speakers on topic of local interest. Everyone is welcome to drop in for a coffee and catch up on local events. \nVolunteers help the staff to run the coffee club and to support and chat to the members who attend. \nBroad Lane\, Nantwich Coffee Club\nSince March 2014 this Monday Coffee Club meets at Broad Lane Methodist Chapel in the south of Nantwich every week between 10am and 12 noon. DESCRIPTION:Age UK Cheshire West and Cheshire Health walks is for people aged 55 plus. There are various weekly and one off local walk programmes ranging from strolls to walks under 90 minutes. Walking is a great way to stay active\, keep healthy and enjoy the beautiful scenery with like-minded people. DESCRIPTION:Age UK Cheshire West and Cheshire Health walks is for people aged 55 plus. There are various weekly and one off local walk programmes ranging from strolls to walks under 90 minutes. Walking is a great way to stay active\, keep healthy and enjoy the beautiful scenery with like-minded people. It provides a range of social activities and friendship for older people who may be isolated at home or who are lonely. The Day Club helps to improve overall health and well being and includes a cooked lunch\, chat\, news updates\, quizzes\, occasional speaker and musical entertainment. It is run by our staff and experienced volunteers. \nAudlem Coffee Club\nThe Audlem Coffee Club meets at the Lord Combermere in The Square\, Audlem every Friday between 10am and 12 noon for friendship\, news and updates with occasional speakers on topic of local interest.
