ADCA is based in the new Audlem Public Hall Annexe and provides weekly day clubs, coffee clubs, a befriending service to people who are isolated, a voluntary driving service which takes people to GP, clinic and hospital appointments. We also provide a twice monthly carers’ support group and organize carers breaks. We are always looking for more volunteers to join us in our work
The Day Club meets every Tuesday at Audlem Public Hall Annexe between 10.00am to 3.30pm. It provides a range of social activities and friendship for older people who may be isolated at home or who are lonely. The Day Club helps to improve overall health and well being and includes a cooked lunch, chat, news updates, quizzes, occasional speaker and musical entertainment. It is run by our staff and experienced volunteers.
Audlem Coffee Club
The Audlem Coffee Club meets at the Lord Combermere in The Square, Audlem every Friday between 10am and 12 noon for friendship, news and updates with occasional speakers on topic of local interest. Everyone is welcome to drop in for a coffee and catch up on local events.
Volunteers help the staff to run the coffee club and to support and chat to the members who attend.
