How to apply for the Blue Badge?

In advance of coming to the library you need to obtain a reference code beginning “SR”.
To obtain this ring 0300 123 5020 and you will just be asked a few questions to confirm your eligibility for the badge.

Then please come to our Customer Service Point with 2 forms of ID according to the accepted kinds shown below :
 

 

If you’re returning from hospital, we make sure you have everything you need for your first days back at home.

The Cheshire East Support At Home (CESAH) Service is a free service, available for 2 weeks, in association with the Red Cross :

The Red Cross services are based around all the local hospitals. Our friendly, caring teams provide free, confidential and practical support to people in the first few weeks after discharge from hospital or after an illness. Staff and volunteers visit people in thier own homes to help them regain their confidence and get back to normal life. We can also offer support to carers who may need a few hours’ break to meet friends or go shopping.

We also operate AccessEquip which provides transport for people who are unable to travel to an independent living centre or retail shop to select equipment due to restricted mobility or lack of transport.
